As National Day is drawing near, the ticket price  of  China Flights  goes up at the same time, and  surprisingly differs day to day.As for domestic flight, besides the  routes to Beijing or east China, flight tickets for Lijiang as a representative travel line and excursion nearby are going to rise. With regard to international airlines, ticket price for southeast Asia,Japan,Korea or Australia will go forward too. Therefore,it is wise for tourists during the National Day holiday to choose different departure place and airlines,to avoid the rush hours, and to concern about favorable airline services.

With respect to short journey flight, the highest price for destination such as Xiamen,Zhangjiajie and Guilin during the National Day is from September 30 to October 2 or 3,and it comes to normal after that period.Generally, tickets with 50% off price or above will be on sale before September 27 or after October 5,except cities such as Sanya,Haikou,Changsha,Wuhan,Nanchang and Guilin with full price ticktet.

P.S.:China has relaxed control over ticket prices for first class and business passengers on domestic flights, and airlines will be able to decide the prices of the two classes starting June 1, according to a notice released Friday by the Civil Aviation Ad-ministration of China (CAAC) and the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).Previously the prices of first class and business class on domestic flights were set at 1.5 times and 1.3 times full fare economy class ticket prices respectively, according to the NDRC.

“Airlines can file their pricing adjustment plans, including price changes, the numbers of first class and business class seats, and the difference between first, business and economy classes in terms of facilities and service standards, to the CAAC and NDRC 30 days ahead of making new prices public and implementing them”, the notice said.“If there is large-scale fluctuation on fares in first class and business class, the authorities can intervene temporarily in accordance with the country’s Price Law”.

The new rule for China Airlines  aims at lowering airlines’ operating costs and providing passengers with high quality and affordable services, according to the notice.Domestic airlines responded positively to the new rule, but analysts said it would not greatly affect current first class and business class ticket prices.

Nowadays, China Tours are becoming more and more popular; china has caught foreign visitors’ attentions, with the great Olympic Games, the Shanghai Expositions, Guangdong Asia Games and many other events. However, most tourists are worried about the flights during china travel, and here I will show you some tips about how to find cheap flights in China.

China has well-functioned net work of air flights, generally speaking, booking air tickets online will cost less than the other ways of booking discount air tickets. For example, you go to the website of Air China International Corp. and you can book your air tickets according to your needs. On the picture, you can see the options such as: International and Regional Routes, One-way or Round trip, your destination from somewhere to somewhere, the departing time you want to, and information like that. As a result, you need to pay much attention to the information about the discount air tickets from main airlines in China previously. If you like buying air tickets from the tickets outlets, you’d better read more information about the tickets of the main five airlines on their official websites, they are: Air China, China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, China Shanghai Airlines and Hainan Airlines. For these great airlines with many flights and air routes, generally, it’s easier to buy discounts air tickets here. However, your good luck maybe an important factor.

In China, there is a new airline, which named Spring Airlines. The prices of the air tickets are really reasonable, usually from hundreds to thousands RMB. The airline is committed to provide services with safety, low price, convenience and warmed-heart.  On board, the airlines don’t provide free food, because the cost finally is the passengers’ burden. The main targets of Spring Airlines are passengers who have frequent air travel. It’s the one with low-cost. Spring airlines are the only domestic airlines which don’t take part in China’s civil aviation network marketing system (CRS) of airlines. Shanghai Hongqiao airport is the main landing airport for Spring airlines, now the whole route carrier is for domestic routes; Airbus A320 aircraft is the only model to use in Spring Airlines.

For Spring airlines air tickets, you can book your air tickets on the websites, and print your boarding check on your own, what’s more, you can choose your seats according to your own preferences. All these services will give you much more free time and you needn’t get a long queue to print your boarding card.

Another useful way to buy discount air tickets is that you go to the websites which you can find other people who have the same needs with you; your guys can buy the air tickets together with low prices; however it’s very difficult to find many guys who have the same destinations and the same time to set out.

However, there are many details you need to pay attention when you buy a discount air ticket. For most of the discount air tickets, generally, a lot of limitations are bound with these air tickets. For example, you have bought a discount air ticket with five discounts, but your ticket cannot be refund, cannot be sign changed and cannot be changed for other tickets. You need to read the relating rules very carefully to avoid unnecessary troubles.

China Flights have a well-worked airlines system, with many airlines and flights and routes, choose china flights and pay more attention to the discount air tickets, you’ll never be disappointed. Good luck for your trips in China.

Tours and Cheap Air Ticket to Shenzhen

What are usual thoughts of destinations about china travel? The answer might be the Beijing, Hong Kong or Shanghai Tours. The first one is the capital and an ancient city, while the second and third cities are the typical modern and shopping city in China. Today, what I am going to recommend is the Special Economic Zone—Shenzhen. This city has just celebrated their 30-year anniversary for establishing the Special Economic Zone. 30 years ago, Shenzhen was a small village in Guangdong province and people there was living on fishing. Now, it becomes the top 1 city which has the largest number of harbors, transportation centers, and airports in China. It is one of the major financial centers in the world and is the second important financial city following Shanghai in China. What attracts me more? It is just 1 hour away to Hong Kong!

Since it is the newest modern city in China, I would suggest that you spend vacations or do shopping here if you just need to relax after busy daily work. The first entertainment site I recommend is the Window of the World. Here, you can travel around the world just in one day. This theme park is surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes and far from the noisy downtown area. This 480,000 square meter land is divided into five themes which represent five continents in the world. You can visit the Pyramids and the Sphinx, climb the Eiffel Tower with the size ratio of 1:3 to the original tower. You will also see Taj Mahal of India, the Niagara Falls and the Grand Canyon at the same day. If you want some adventure trips, there are several programs for you to have a try, such as navigating on the Grand Canyon, and hunting in the jungles. Moreover, the night programs are fantastic as there are dancing shows from all over the world each night, the parade and fireworks. The price is 140 RMB (about $20) per day and it opens from 9am to 10pm. You can either take a direct bus from airport to the Window of the World or ask your hotels to provide shuttle bus.

The second must-see place is Xiangmi Lake Resort. Because the climate in Shenzhen is subtropical, the temperature is quite steady. The seasons are neither harsh winters nor hot summers and the humidity is moderate. Thus, there is no good or bad season to visit this resort. Although this resort was built in 1981, the constructions and facilities are quite new and renovated each year. It includes adventure islands, top hotels, sports center and collections of all kinds of food. The best part of this resort, I would say, is the tasted food. You do not need to go every corner of China, and you can enjoy the local flavor food from all over China, such as the seafood dishes in Southern China, Mongolian food in Northeastern China, Sichuan spicy food, Chinese BBQ, and even Korean and Japanese food.

As I have mentioned that the transportation in Shenzhen is quite convenient, no matter what kind of vehicle you are taking. And because of this convenience, the competition between airlines to Shenzhen is very tense. This means the chance of booking cheap air tickets to Shenzhen is not so difficult. The full-price air ticket from Shanghai to Shenzhen is around 1200 RMB ($200), but the sale price, if you are lucky and fast, you can get even 70% off. Another trick to save money on air tickets is to choose some “cheap” airlines, like Singapore Tiger Airways and Shanghai Spring International Travel Service. Because the flight routes in Shenzhen Baoan International Airport are various, you can easily pick the cheaper routes or cheaper airlines both for international or domestic flights. Moreover, the domestic airlines in China are prompting the domestic connecting flights recent years. The special part is that it is similar to the operation of train. The airplane has two or three stops before it arrives at the final destination. At one stop, some passengers will get off and their seats on the airplane are “disposable” so that the new passengers getting on from this stop can continue to seat on the same spot. The flying time does not make much difference, but the tickets are cheaper. So what I am suggesting is to pay attention on choosing the routes as there are plenty of options in Shenzhen airport.

The last question is where to stay in Shenzhen. Well, you do not need to worry about it at all. Shenzhen is a very young but highly modernized city, so the facilities and buildings are at a relatively high level. All you need to is book and pay for Shenzhen Hotels online before you leave. Hope you will enjoy your trip to Shenzhen!

Here We Go, Walk through Sanlitun Area

Here we go, walk through Sanlitun Area for a bottle of beer, or just hang on with friends for shopping and relax while you are in the downtown of Beijing for your China Tour. Sanlitun Area is the most valuable place for foreign people to feel international culture and experience. When your China Flight is landing on the Beijing Capital International Airport, you can just take the Airport Express to get there.

Sanlitun is an area of theChaoyang District, Beijing containing many popular bar streets and international stores. The area has been under almost constant regeneration since the late 20th century as part of a city-wide project of economic regrowth. It currently houses many bars and clubs popular with both expatriates and locals as well as international brand-name stores such as American Apparel, Apple and Adidas. It is notable for housing the largest Adidas store in the world. The Ya Show market is also in the area, a popular destination for tourists wishing to buy counterfeit clothes.

Prior to 1949, the Beijing Legation Quarter was the center of diplomatic activity in the capital. After the foundation of the People’s Republic of China, the government wanted to move the diplomatic district outside the inner city. Sanlitun was chosen as the area where foreign legations and embassies were to be reallocated in the late 1950s. The area was called Sanlitun to designate its location from Dongzhimen gate. With tun meaning ‘locality’, san li meaning ‘three li’ (a li is 0.5 km), the name translates as 1.5 km away (from Dongzhimen Gate).

Sanlitun’s began to grow when, along with the economic reforms of the late 1970s and early 1980s, bars serving expatriates and later locals began to open. International hotels hosted the first bars, but in the 1990s, standalone establishments appeared.

A small lane known as Nan Jie was demolished in the summer of 2005 to make way for new buildings. However, bars and restaurants continue to operate on both sides of Gongti Bei Lu.

The Village and Nali Mall shopping areas opened in the summer 2008, giving the area many new shops, restaurants, bars and a multiplex cinema.

In April 2008, prior to the 2008 Summer Olympics and as part of an ongoing operation to clean up the city, a major drug bust occurred in Sanlitun and many arrests were made. A total of four bars and clubs were effectively closed, including a notorious bar known for its cheap alcohol and availability of drugs. The police operation was widely criticized for its violence and absence of proper due process. A number of drug dealers as well as a barman are believed to have received the death penalty as a result of this operation.

Sanlitun’s bar street is extremely popular for expatriates and young foreign teenagers to blow off steam, party and drink. They have many bars which have a variety of cheap liquor and fun dance areas. The clubs street of Beijing is a 15min taxi ride away. The main source of underage drinking is from the expat teens from all over the world who indulge in the ability to drink underage without anyone asking for id or checking their age. The nightlife for underage teens is frequently quite unrestricted compared that in the home countries of the foreign teens living as expats in Beijing.

Beijing, the capital city of the raising People’s Republic of China, is showing its prosperities to the entire world.  Go to visit chinatraveldepot.com for more informations on Travel to Beijing, or your personal China Tour!

Do you want to buy discounted air ticket, sometimes even the one tens price of tickets? Actually it is not so difficult. There are some tips for you to get the cheapest tickets. You can also get cheap Beijing Flights and Shanghai Flights here.

Booking tickets as soon as possible

It is well known that the earlier you book the air ticket, the cheaper you will pay for it. Booking the ticket in advance should notice the five periods, those are book 15 days, 30 days, 45 days, 60 days and 90 days in advance. Generally, tickets booking 30 days in advance are usually cheaper than 15 days in advance. Ten days before the flight are there usually no pretty cheap tickets.

There are some exceptions. I came into a guy who got fifty discounted ticket just on the day before the flight taking off. What is more, it is during the Spring Festival. However I book more than ten days in advance, the discount was only as much as 80 percent. The reasons the guy could get the discounted ticket are many. Such as some traveler cancelled his or her ticket on that day, travelers on plane are less than planned before and so on. However, there are no regular patterns of these situations, so please do not try if you are not such lucky dog.

Choose to travel in dull seasons. Because of the demand and supply principle, airlines will provide the discounted tickets in dull seasons to attract travelers. Generally, Monday,Tuesday and days before and after golden seasons are dull seasons to travel outside. Besides that, the early and last flight everyday is always in low price.

Aircraft types are different. So even the same flight, different aircraft types are with different ticket prices. You can compare all airline ticket prices then decide to buy which one. In addition, you can acquire the server to do so if you book on phone.

If you are experienced in booking e-ticket on line, you will find the price is lower than that booked on phone. It is natural for it will lower the cost of airlines to sell tickets on line. Log in those airline official websites to book tickets is almost the most efficient and economical way to get discounted air ticket.

Sometimes connecting flight is cheaper than direct flight. For example, if you want to fly from Guangzhou to Lhasa, you can choose to fly from Guangzhou to Chengdu firstly then connect flight from Chengdu to Lhasa. The whole costs are generally less than the direct ticket price.

You should pay attention on the airlines information. To attract travelers, some airlines will provide some discounted tickets in small amounts but in huge concession. For example, Hainan airline ever promoted seventy percent discounted ticket of the flight from Hangzhou to Haikou. Of course time is always limited when those tickets are provided. Sometimes these tickets are required to book in more than one week in advance and no permission to transfer or get returned.

As the same way as above, you can also choose airlines. Actually, take flights to Guangzhou in Southern airlines, to Chongqing in Northwestern airlines, to Haikou in Hainan airlines and to Shanghai in Eastern airlines are relatively cheaper than other flights.

There are some cheap airlines such as China Spring Airline, Viva Macao Airline and Singapore Tiger Airline. Singapore tiger airlines provided two flights to Thailand. Although sometimes airlines are not set off from Guangzhou, but we can choose to arrive in Singapore firstly then take the cheap flight to the destination. It can also help you to save money.

Nanjing is the capital of Jiangsu Province, China, and has a prominent place in Chinese history and culture. Located in the lower Yangtze River drainage basin and Yangtze River Delta economic zone, Nanjing has always been one of China’s most important cities. It served as the capital of China during several historical periods and is recognized as one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China. Nanjing was the capital of the Republic of China before the Chinese Civil War in 1949. Nanjing is also one of the fifteen subs in the People’s Republic of China’s administrative structure, enjoying jurisdictional and economic autonomy only slightly less than that of a province. Nanjing has long been a national center of education, research, transport networks, and tourism. The city will host the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics.

With an urban population of over five million (2006), Nanjing is the second largest commercial center in the East China region, after Shanghai. It has been ranked fourth by Forbes magazine in its listing of “2008 Top 100 Business Cities in Mainland China”, seventh in the evaluation of “Cities with Strongest Comprehensive Strength” issued by the National Statistics Bureau, and second in the evaluation of cities with most sustainable development potential in the Yangtze River Delta. It has also been awarded the title of 2008 Habitat Scroll of Honor of China, Special Award of UN Habitat Scroll of Honor and National Civilized City.

Purple-Gold Mountain or Zijin Mountain is located on the eastern side of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, Its peaks are often found enveloped in mysterious purple and golden clouds at dawn and dusk, hence comes its name “Purple Gold Mountain”. A small mountain with an area about 20 square kilometres (4,900 acres), Purple-Gold Mountain is a mountain related to many historical events of both ancient and modern China. More than 200 heritage and scenic tourist sites are located in or around the mountain, among which include three national historical sites, nine provincial historical sites, and 33 prefectural historical sites.

Purple-Gold Mountain has 621 species of vascular plants, from 383 genera, 118 families (including 78 cultivated species). Located in or close to the hillside of Purple-Gold Mountain, there are about a dozen national research institutes and universities.

Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s Mausoleum (中山陵) is situated at the foot of the second peak of Mount Zijin (Purple Mountain) in Nanjing, China. Construction of the tomb started in January 1926 and was finished in spring of 1929. The architect was Lu Yanzhi, who died shortly after it was finished.

Take it as a Place to Visit: Terminal 3 of Beijing capital International Airport

Airport is an essential place for people are going abroad or arriving to their destinations via airlines. People are in and out, taking their suitcases. Beijing Capital International Airport Terminal 3 is the biggest single-structure air-hub in the world. It will become the first place you will visit during your trip to Beijing.

Construction of Terminal 3 started on March 28, 2004, and was opened in two stages. Trial operations commenced on February 29, 2008, when seven airlines, namely British Airways, El Al Israel Airlines, Qantas, Qatar Airways, Shandong Airlines and Sichuan Airlines moved into the terminal. 20 other airlines moved into the terminal when it became fully operational on March 26, 2008. Currently, it mainly houses Air China, Star Alliance, and other domestic and international flights.

Terminal 3 is larger than London Heathrow Airport’s 5 terminals combined with another 17% to spare. Terminal 3 of the BCIA is currently the second largest airport passenger terminal building of the world. Its title as the world’s largest was surrendered to Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 3 (over 1,500,000 m²) on October 14, 2008.

A 98.3-meter monitoring tower stands at the southern end of T3, the highest building at the airport. The roof of T3 is red, the Chinese color for good luck. The terminal’s ceilings use white strips for decoration and to indicate directions. Under the white strips, the basic color of the ceiling is orange with light to dark tones indicating where a passenger is inside the building. The roof of T3 has dozens of windows to let in daylight. Light angles can be adjusted to ensure adequate interior lighting. However, interior lighting in itself is sufficient for comfortable reading. Many traditional Chinese elements will be employed in the terminal’s interior decoration, including a “Menhai,” a big copper vat used to store water for fighting fires in the Forbidden City, and the carvings imitating the famous Nine-Dragon Wall (Jiulongbi).

An indoor garden is constructed in the T3 waiting area, in the style of imperial gardens such as the Summer Palace. In T3, a tunnel landscape of an underground garden has been finished with plants on each side so that passengers can appreciate them inside the mini-train.

To help passengers go to the right terminal, the airport provides free inter-terminal shuttles between T3 and Terminals 1 and 2 from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. The buses set out every ten minutes from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and every 20 minutes during other times.

Beijing Capital International Airport is served by the Airport Express Line of the Beijing Subway. The 28.1 km line runs from Terminal 3 to Terminal 2 and then to the city with stops at Sanyuanqiao and Dongzhimen. It was opened on July 19, 2008, in time for the 2008 Olympics. A one-way trip takes approximately 16–20 minutes.

Being one of the most impressive international airports, Terminal 3 of BCIA will bring you the fantastic China flight experience and Beijing travel duration.

After the Mid-autumn festival, people get back to work. The air ticket goes back to the normal standard as well. Autumn is a romantic and beautiful season, it is neither too cold nor too hot, and therefore, it is the perfect to go travel in China. When you like to have a china travel, the fastest and efficient way is to take the airplane. Shanghai Flights are usually chosen by people for its famous low cost airline- Spring Airlines.

Here are some websites I’d like to recommend when you want to purchase the low cost airline ticket. The first one is Qunar; it is most famous low cost airline ticket search engine. Even I, myself am often buying the cheap airline tickets through it. I believe this website because its air ticket service has the qualification authentication by CHINA AIR TRANSPORT ASSOCIATION (CATA). By searching those 293 websites instantly, it can provide you 2653 domestic ticket information accurately and it will also show you the chart of airline ticket trend within a month. In addition to the cheap air tickets, you can also book the hotel in it.

Secondly, there is a website which is jointly cooperating by QQ and China Southern Airlines. There is a special service in this website that you can book the domestic and international airline tickets by a special offer. After filling the information in this website, it will notice you once it finds the suitable special airline tickets for you. Every customer can only create three reservations at the same time, and the reserved time must be within 30 days.

Thirdly, a website named Xixii which is only selling the airline tickets lower than 60% discount and it only sells the domestic airline tickets. Even though, the options it gives to us are no much as the formers. Moreover, you can buy the ticket of Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Rail Transit in this website.

Fourthly, there is a famous budget airline called Spring Airlines. It is a low-cost airline based in Shanghai and also the first low-cost airline in China.  It celebrates its motto of “make flying affordable for everyone” by operating efficiently, cutting out complimentary meals and selling tickets directly to flyers through the Spring Airlines and China Spring Tour websites. However, customers can still purchase meals on board.

Fifthly, there is a similar website- Kuxun which is also a search engine like Qunar. What’s more, you can search the train tickets in it, for example, the spare soft berth or hard berth tickets information.

Most cheap airline tickets need to be paid in the internet, so if you want to purchase it, you need to conduct an E-bank. For your information, the special offer airline tickets are not allowed to be endorsable, changed the date and refundable.  As long as you take advantage of those resources, you may get a faster and cheaper tour than take the train. More information about China Flights, please check the china travel depot website.

My Experience of Shanghai Cheap Flight

Recently, the competition among China Flights is getting tense. The price for flying to many cities is decreasing at an unbelievable speed, especially the four first-tire cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. One main reason is the D-prefaced streamlined trainsets provide rather comfortable service as the airplanes and decent speed (about 8 hours from Beijing to Shanghai). Another reason is that more airlines are joining this competition. Travel to Shanghai has been the center of this airline competition, therefore you can always succeed to get a cheap flight. The question is which flight is the best match of lower price and good service.

The first experience is delivered indirectly from my parents. Two years ago, I booked two tickets for both of my parents from Shanghai to our hometown— a small city in Hunan province. The price was about $50 including everything which is only a little bit higher than the train. The airline is Shanghai Spring International Travel Service (春秋航空) which is famous for the slogan that they will let every Chinese is able to afford the airplane ticket. They managed to achieve this goal. But what else have been sacrificed? My mom phoned me after she got off this flight. “That was terrible and ridiculous!” she complained, “The plane was shaky and made me feel unusual sick. The food and drinks were not free and everything on the plane needs money! I have never had such an experience in my life!” Actually it can be expected as there is no free food in the world. These companies need profits and this is their strategy.

The second experience is directly from me this January. I booked a ticket through China Southern Airlines online from Shanghai to Beijing. It cost about $60. The airplane took off from Shanghai at 10pm and arrived at Beijing during the late night. This cheap flight followed the rules I mentioned in previous blogs. The very late or early flight tends to have cheap or large discounted price. You may be worried about the inconvenience and safety in the airport. But there are no worries about this, because there are several shuttle buses operating overnight in both Beijing and Shanghai Pudong airports. Shanghai Pudong International Airport is convenient, safe, and comfortable. Another airport in Shanghai is Hong Qiao Airport which is mainly for domestic or Asian flights. What is more, usually the cheap flights arrive or take off from this middle-size airport. There are frequent shuttle buses between these two airports.

The third experience is relating the international cheap flights of Shanghai. When I was trying to find cheapest flights from Toronto to China last year, I observed an interesting phenomenon: compared with other first-tier cities within China, flights to Shanghai are seemed to be the cheapest. The miles and hours are similar among these flights to China, but the price is the lowest if you travel to Shanghai. Actually I searched the cheap ticket online, I made the similar conclusion that the flights from or to Shanghai always have good deals.

The last experience was back to my years in the university. The direct flight from Beijing to Xia Men was almost two times of the price for transferring from Shanghai. Absolutely I made the decision to stop at Shanghai and then took another flight to Xia Men. Although I needed to stay in the airport for 5 hours, I spent all the time on shopping in the airport. The duty free shops are the most attractive place for me in the Shanghai Pudong International Airport. I also enjoy the cafes and wifi in the airport. You can log into the internet through your ipod touch or laptop to kill time or do your business.

Hope these stories can release some of your worries about cheap flights. If your destination is Shanghai, you will receive good deals through booking online, such as the official website of China Southern Airlines.
