The international tickets to China have risen up to a high level this year, partly because of the Shanghai Expo. But the root for this expensive air tickets is the rare competition among airlines to operate international flights. For example, the flights between Canada and China are mainly operated byAir China, China Eastern Airlines and Air Canada. Especially, for some direct flights from some Canadian cities to major cities in China, there are only Air Canada flights. But all of these will be changed in this month. Hainan Airlines, which is the only 4-star airlines in China, will open several direct lines for international flights this month. The first direct flight from Toronto to Beijing will be setting off this Saturday. And the price for round trip is only about $700, while the cheapest price of Air Canada in history was $900.

Hainan Airlines was established in Hainan, 1993. It has more than 500 lines for international and domestic flights. It operated flights between Beijing and Berlin, Sydney, Toronto, Seattle, etc. And in 2009, it received the award of the first 4-star airline in China by SKYTRAX. This year, 2010, Hainan Airlines opened the first frequent direct flights between Beijing and Phuket. The accumulation card for Hainan Airlines is the Fortune Wings Club. The members of this club also include Grand China Air, Lucky Air, Tianjin Airlines, China West Air, Hong Kong Airlines, Hong Kong Express, Air Berlin, China Airlines, and Malev.

The domestic flights of Hainan Airlines are quite cheap and with high quality of service. From Beijing to Hangzhou, for example, just costs RMB 360 yuan. Moreover, they have prepared cheap tickets for Christmas and New Yearvacations. For European round trips, like between Beijing or Shanghai and Brussels, Berlin, travelers can have special offers if you book tickets 14 days in advance. The price is from RMB 3380 between December 1st, 2010 and January 20th, 2011,  RMB 3500 yuan between January 21st and February 28th ,2011, RMB 4000 yuan from March 1st to March 31st, 2011, RMB 2600 yuan Between Beijing and Moscow from November 1st to December 31st , RMB 3500 yuan Between Beijing and Moscow, St. Petersburg from January 1st to March 31st.

There are also cheap flights offers in North America. During the period of November 1st,2010 ad March 31st, 2011, the international flights from Beijing, transferring in Seattle, to Vancouver, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Calgary, Denver, the round trip price is as low as RMB 3500 yuan. And the first direct flight between Toronto and Beijing this Saturday (November 27th) can be only RMB 4800 yuan for round trip. This line is taken by Air Bus A340, the flights number is HU7975 and HU7976. It operates every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. It leaves at 3:40pm in Toronto or 1pm in Beijing, and arrives in 6:55pm in Beijing or 1:40pm in Toronto. The flight duration is around 13 hours.

For Africa, Hainan Airlines have opened the direct flights between Beijing and Cairo in November 17th. The single trip is from RMB 3200 yuan, while the round trip only costs RMB 3800 yuan. Also there are connecting flights from other cities in China, transferring to Beijing, to Cairo. And the domestic flights of this connecting lines are free.

The choices of cheap flights for international travelers are more and more. Many Chinese airlines are preparing for coming into this market and making this competition tense like domestic flights. In a short period, there will be more airlines which used to focus on the domestic flights, will be initiating the direct international flights. So you travelers will enjoy even cheaper China Flights than current deals!

Are you going to china travel to get an amazing experience? China is one of the destinations where most travel fans want to go; the reason for China Tours is not only the historical buildings, but also the peaceful landscape and the Chinese minorities’ lifestyles and culture. However, one of the most important things they need to consider is the airfares. Of course we all want to travel as cheaply as possible, and so the question is how can we find discounted air tickets. In the following article, I will give you some suggestions about how to search for the hot deals.

Famous airlines

In general, the famous airlines in China, such as Air China, will put up some information about discounts on their official website. For example, on the website of Air China, you can find the Special Offers section. This section includes Flight promotions, Mileage promotions and Joint promotions. The Flight promotion usually includes One-way and Round-trip tickets; you can search your departure city and destinations and will almost certainly get a more competitive price. The deal could be as much as one hundred dollars, but keep in mind that the deals have deadlines, so you need to keep looking out for discounted information if you are planning on traveling abroad. In addition, the Mileage promotion means that there are additional miles awarded when passengers purchase tickets through the Air China Hotline. However, there are some conditions to follow for this promotion. Firstly, this promotion cannot be combined with any further discounts, gifts or other promotional activities. Secondly, if there is a refund after the additional mileage has been credited to the Phoenix Miles member’s account, the additional mileage awarded will be deducted from the Phoenix Miles member’s account before the 5th of the following month. Thirdly, the additional mileage awarded is for passengers only. The name shown on the Phoenix Miles member’s account provided at the time of purchase should correspond with the passenger’s name. For more information, you can go to the official website of Air China.

Reliable travel agency

China Youth Travel Service, which I recommend to you, is one of the most renowned and reliable travel agencies in China. It is committed to providing a high standard of service by offering competitive prices for different airlines and allowing you to compare all the prices to get the best deal. By doing this you can save on time and money. Why not have a try? In addition, you can find other discount offers on the website, such as hotel deals and tour package deals. In short, you will not be disappointed after visiting the website on www.chinatraveldepot.com. There are also some travel itineraries which are very popular amongst china foreign travelers. One of the most popular itineraries is the China Sightseeing Tour, which is from Beijing to Suzhou to Sanya. This route is from the north to the south of China. Along this route, you can visit the legendary Great Wall of China, the classical gardens in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, and the sea view in Sanya, the remote city in the south of China. What’s more, there are many other different themed itineraries, such as the historical buildings tour, the landscape of China, the Holy Tibet, the Yangtze River Cruise etc. You can try them one by one only if you think you have enough time and energy

So, why not book China Flights and explore for yourself.

Low Fare Airline in China Saves a Lot

Since the global economy has become so bad, not only the government, but also every family has to consider how to save money. As family trip is always a part of regular cost, you have to think of how to lower the budget. Then travel to Asian countries might be a good choice because of the currency rate. And China would be your first station, since it is convenient to other Asian countries and it has both traditional eastern culture and modern style fashions. You can Travel to Xi’an to explore the Ancient Silk Road, while you could also Travel to Shanghai to be merged in the environment—When East Meets West. After some analyst, I have concluded the top cheapest airlines from Shanghai to different popular tourism cities in China. The reason I picked Shanghai to be the starting point is that the competition among airlines focus in Shanghai.

From Shanghai to Xi’an. Currently, the Spring Airlines provide thecheapest flights to Xi’an. The lowest price can be as low as RMB 200 yuan, compared with RMB 700 yuan in China Eastern Airlines. The flight departs at 2:05pm from Shanghai Pudong Airport and arrives in Xian Yang Airport at 5pm. The second cheapest airline is China Southern Airlines which costs about RMB 380yuan. It is an early flight and it leaves at 7:25am and arrives in Xi’an at 9:55am. The Spring Airlines is the first and most famous low-cost airline in China and its typical promotion is the RMB 199 yuan tickets.

From Shanghai to Hong Kong and Macao. Again, the Spring Airlines is the cheapest one for your travel to Hong Kong. You can merely spend RMB 500 yuan from Shanghai to Hong Kong which takes 2.5 hours. You may have known about the relatively lousy service on the flights of Spring Airlines. However, since it becomes sometimes even cheaper than the train, the company has to reduce some cost during the operation. If you really care about the quality of service on board, then the second cheapest flights come from Hong Kong Airlines. And it charges for around RMB 1300 yuan. For Macao, the selections are less. You can either choose Shanghai Airlines or Air Macao. Both airlines sell the tickets at the price as RMB 1600 yuan. The flight time is around 3 hours.

From Shanghai to Tokyo and Seoul. As I have said that it was quite convenient to go to other Asian countries. From Shanghai to Tokyo, the cheapest direct flight is from Air China, Delta Airlines, and China Eastern Airlines which cost around RMB 1900 yuan. Or if you do not mind connecting flights, you can still take the Spring Airlines, then Asiana Cargo. And this combination cost RMB 50 yuan less than the previous airlines. The direct flights take almost 3hours, while the connecting flights need to stay overnight. To Seoul, the air tickets are much less than the flights to Tokyo. The cheapest price is from China Southern Airlines which charges for approximately RMB 700. You can either leave at 8am in the morning or 3pm in the afternoon. The prices are the same.

Thanks to the tense competition among airlines, the price for travelling within or outside of China is getting lower and lower. Although the fuel surcharges and airport construction fees have been increased to RMB 120 yuan, the air tickets are still low. Besides the Spring Airlines, other specific low fare airlines are Dragonair, Korean Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airlines, and June Yao Airlines. Especially the June Yao Airlines which was established in 2005, one year after the Spring Airlines was on operation, is said to have both good service and low fare at the same time. The Cheap Flights to China

If you are planning to have your china travel, one of the most important thing is to book the air tickets. However, tickets are usually quite expensive, especially the international ones. So what should we do to get the cheaper ones? Here I have some tips for getting the cheap tickets for China Flights.

1. A round trip ticket or two separate tickets: Sometimes, we think that round trip tickets are cheaper than two separate tickets. However, it may not be always true. Normally, a round trip ticket is cheaper than two tickets, but sometimes, it may be much more expensive. It depends on the country you are traveling to and the time of the tour. Therefore, you need to compare them carefully before you made your choice.

2. The time to travel: If you want to travel to China, you need to take the time of tour into consideration. The fare of the air ticket is quite different during the peak season and the off season. Generally, when Chinese celebrate their traditional festivals such as the Chinese New Year, Labor Day, national day etc, the price of an airline ticket goes higher. These are the main festivals they choose to travel domestic or aboard. Usually, The New Year occurs in January / February. The Labor Day and National Day dates vary, but are around May 1 and October 1. And Hong Kong’s high season is October through December.

3. Book early: If you want to start a journey to china, you need to search online for tickets to China as far in advance as possible to lock in the lowest fares. If you want to travel during the holidays, it is easier for you to beat the sky-high prices to fly internationally.

4. Get tickets from a travel agency: Because the agencies are always corporate with lots of airline companies, they can get airline tickets at lower prices. The agencies purchase tickets for a large scale of groups so the price is much lower. However, your time to travel may not be the same with the groups, so you need to pay the fee to the travel agency to get a cheap ticket for the groups.

5. Using neighboring airports: Sometimes it may save a lot of money if you can choose an airport which nears your destination. In other words, you fly to another airport instead of flying directly to the airport in your destination. For example, it takes you 1400 RMB to fly from Beijing to Fuzhou, but it only costs 420 RMB to fly to Nanchang( a city which nears fuzhou). So you can enjoy the “discount” in this way. Therefore, do some research about the destination and make a list of the prices for each airport, it helps a lot.

6. If you are a student: Most international and domestic airlines offer cheap Student Airline Tickets. Sometimes, some airlines even offer a separate airfare classification for students that can save them up to 65 percent off the regular ticket price. If you are a student, you can get cheap Student Airline easily once you show your student ID and any other identification documents that the airline may ask for. Once they are assured that you are a bona fide student, you will be eligible to obtain student airfares. So just make full use of your student ID.

Hope you have a nice journey in China. You can find more information on China Tours.

Map of China

There is too much history in China to even attempt to write in a blog, so I will focus on points of history I believe to be some of the most interesting and unique. It begins in 2200 BC in the Xia Dynasty, followed by the Shang Dynasty, then West Han Dynasty and East Han Dynasty centuries went by.

  • Modern China during 1644-1911  was rules under the Qing Dynasty in which the capital city of Beijing was founded. During this time was the building of Summer Palace by Empress Dowager Cixi in 1888.
  • It was only until 1911 that communism in china began to grow after the Qing Dynasty.
  • In 1925 did the Forbidden City be allowed to the public as a historic Museum after thousands of years of being hidden from the world.
  • In 1974, a huge discovery of the Terra Cotta Warriors and horses were found in Xi’an, a major world treasure about Chinese culture.
  • In 1987,  the Great Wall and Forbidden City as World Cultural Heritages.
  • In October 1949 the People’s Republic of China became established into Chinese history.

Summer Palace

Lets not forget the most recent achievement to be the Beijing Olympics in 2008, which proved the to the world that China is a great place to visit. As China becomes ever more modern in its own rapidly growing economy, it is the best time to go here and explore the opportunities it can bring.

It is an exciting time in China right now so book your China Flights right now!

Montreal is known as the non-sleep city in Canada, while its capital Ottawa is more like a silent village. However, when you Travel to Beijing, the capital of China, you will experience a totally different style, or complex styles combining traditional culture and modern trends. There are a lot of events, places and activities you can do from the morning till night for 24 hours in Beijing. This article will give you some thoughts about what to do once you have left the Beijing Hotels.

Early Morning. The essential part for Beijing tours must include viewing the Flag-raising ceremony in Tian’an Men square. There will be 60 soldiers playing Chinese national anthem lively on 1st, 11st, 21st each month, while other normal days will be play the songs. A team of strictly-selected 38 escort soldiers for the flag is responsible for raising flags. The exact time for this ceremony is flexible according to the report of sun-rising time from national observatory bureau. Usually, it starts at 7 am in winters and begins at 4:30am in summers. After the raising-flag ceremony, you can visit Tian’an Men Tower, Monument of the People’s Heros, Great Hall of the People and Chairman Mao Memorial Hall. The Chairman Mao Memorial Hall is open to public from 8:30am to 11:30am from Tuesday to Sunday and 2pm to 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. It is free but you need to reserve belongs at the entrance. You can take subway line 1 to Tian’an Men East or Tian’an Men West station. Or take bus route 2, 5, 20, 120,126 or 210 to arrive at the same station.

Afternoon Shopping and Food. Take the subway line 1 to Yong An Li Station which is three stations away from Tian’an Men Square. This has the most famous market “Silk Market”. Here you could buy every traditional Chinese gifts, clothes and food here with high qualities, such as the silk, pearl, china, tea, crafts and Beijing Duck. Except for the products, you can alsoexperience the typical Chinese bargaining conversations: “How much is it?””RMB 1000 yuan? No, that’s too much!””RMB 300 yuan or I don’t buy it!””No, that is too low, I don’t have any profits.””OK,OK, that’s fine, take it by 400 yuan. I have never sold it at this low price.” Silk Market was at first known as selling high quality of fake brand products. But now it has the real brand name products, famous Chinese traditional food, and western style café. Since Silk Market is a must-see attraction spot for visitors, many celebrities have visited and bought stuff here. For example, George Bush and his daughter bought 6 hand-made silk pajamas with Chinese traditional patterns: Phoenix and Dragon.

Night Life. The night life in Beijing has much more funs than Montreal. If you are a pub fan, you should not miss San Li Tun Pub Street. There are nearly 80 night clubs here. Because it is close to the embassies area, people who are in San Li Tun clubs came from various countries and with different culture backgrounds. The clubs can be silent, or noisy and there are a lot of options for you. Popular clubs are The tree, The Den, Mix Club, Kai Club. And some of the clubs locate in the Hu Tong, which is the traditional cultural architecture in Beijing. The operation time for these clubs is usually from afternoon till midnight. The direction is to take Bus route 113, 115, 406, 416, 431, 701, 758 and get off at San Li Tun. It is also in the same district (Chao Yang District) as two places above, so you could also take taxis to get here.

These places provide options for your 24-hour visit of China Tours. If you want to know more interesting places in Beijing or other cities in China, you can visit our blog section and read more about this.
