An Impressive architectural structure and a monument of great and enduring value in the eyes of humanity. The Great Wall is one of the world’s most famous constructions designated by UNESCO as world heritage in 1987; a truly China Travel experience. It reached it’s dplendor during the Ming Dynastry to protect the empire from attacks by the Xiongnu nomads of Mongolia and Manchuria, and that contrary to what everyone thinks, its main purpose was not to prevent be traversed, but to prevent the invaders to cross with their horses. China Tours to the Great Wall counts with several sections of incredible and diverse scenery. All of these sections where planned to be used as defense points to which the soldiers could retreat of necesary and where each tower has unique and difficult access in order to confuse the enemy. Each tower could be used to comunicate, by lightning torches which indicate the enemy fronts and the direction in which they were attacking.

As mentioned above, the Great Wall has several sections which starts from Hushan in the east to Jiayuguan Pass in the west traversing Liaoning, Hebei, Beijing, Tianjin, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Gansu and Qinghai. If you are planning a visit, it’s good for you to know there might be a huge crowd wanting to go up as well. I had already visited the Great Wall for three months in a row and let me tell you, there’s a big difference in the month you choose. Out of the three tmes I went, I definitely would choose February. It was cold, but once you start walking you don’t even get that feeling anymore, it was not crowded at all, and the scenery was splendid; with some snow. The section I visited was Badaling, which is the most popular and, for me, a gorgeous place tot take pictures. But, as mentiones, the list is not limited to one. Here are some of the most famous sections of the Great Wall: Badaling, Juyongguan, Mutianyu, Gubeikou, Huanghuacheng and Jinshanling.

Don’t miss the opportunity to Travel China and immerse in everything it has to offer. Come visit the Great Wall and see by yourselves why is it considered as one of the seven world wonders.
