As we all know Beijing is a huge city and has a large population to go with it therefore there are many exciting and fantastic adventures this city can take you on. Like majority of us we may only have a limited time to spend in this city but however you can get quite a bit done and experience different events within this limited time frame. One advantage is to book tours which can be done with China Tours and then explore from there. Main thing is, is that you just need to go out· and explore the city, you may get lost but that is the whole excitement of it. Once you start exploring the city you will discover many places that you never thought you would find for example great restaurants with interesting dishes which you just have to experience, impressive architecture, fun and awesome shopping and meeting great people. So go ahead and book those Beijing Flights!!
Among your travels in Beijing you definitely have to check out the markets and see what they have to offer. Shopping at the Silk Street Markets or Xiushui in Jianguomen is a great experience, they are usually open until 9pm every night and you are bound to find something for yourself or for gifts, ranging from handbags, watches, pearl jewellery to tailored suits and of course silk items. You are guaranteed to enjoy this shopping experience even the males whom don’t usually like shopping at home would have a great time whilst shopping here. However there are many markets like this one all over the city so no matter what you are bound to find one and have a ball.
Another must see which can easily be found is the tallest building in Beijing which is the China World Trade Center Tower III, head straight to the top floor where they have a café and a bar, but beware the elevator goes up pretty quickly (supposedly the quickest in China) so there may be some ear popping. The views are amazing especially at night and the internal design is just beautiful. The prices of beverages are not as cheap as the bars which are on the ground but it is totally worth it.
A must do of course is the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square; they are very accessible just metres away from the subway. You cannot come to Beijing and not go to these magnificent locations, it is just a beautiful view and be prepared to be blown away with all the history, you can spend a whole day here or even visit it again. When you eventually get to the other side of the Forbidden City head across the road and go to Jingshan Park. There are breath taking views over the Forbidden City and the surrounding locations and it’s amazing to see the differences among the areas. Just a bit of a warning though it is quite a hike up to the top so make sure you have a bottle of water and an energetic fun attitude, you will get up their easier.
Of course there are many more things to do in this enormous city but if you get out there and not waste any time and don’t give into the fear of getting lost you will experience the most out of your limited time in this large adventorous city. And you would successfully be able to see everything you wanted to see plus more therefore Travel to Beijing and explore as much as possible!
