Yushan Park is located near Beiji Park and Yushan Bridge in the northern part of downtown in Guilin, Guangxi province. The park got this name because Yushan Mountain is in it. It is a recommendation to start the trip around Guilin from this place, as it is a source of the city’s history.
Best Time to Visit Yushan Park
April to October is the best time to visit the park. The golden week in May and October attracts many visitors, as the weather is particularly agreeable. If travelling at that time, remember to book your transport and accommodation in advance and be prepared for higher prices. During the slack season, however, you will have a better chance to experience the beautiful scenery of the park.

How to get to Yushan Park
By bus: you can take buses No.1, No.2, No.15, No.18, No.99, No.58, and No.100. And No.58 bus (from 8:30 to 16:30) is free; the air-conditioned No.99 bus, it drives from the north to the south across the city, the price is 2 Yuan; the rest buses only cost 1 Yuan.
By taxi: there are many taxis in Guilin, most of them are Jetta and Santana. In daytime and at night the fee standard of taxi is different. In daytime (from 6:30 to 23:00), price starts at 7 Yuan (including the 2km); after 2km and less than 4km, it is 1.6 Yuan per kilometer; after 4km, it is 2 Yuan per kilometer. At night (from 23:00 to 6:30), price starts at 7.80 Yuan; from 2km to 4km, it is 1.80 Yuan per kilometer; after 4km, it is 2.40 Yuan per kilometers.
By bike: it is a good idea to rent bike to travel around the downtown. It is very convenient to rent bike as every hotel and main streets has bike rental outlets. The rent fee is charged by hour or by day. For instance, in the International Youth Hotel in Guilin, rent bike costs 15 Yuan per day.
