Best Time to Visit the Ocean Park
You can go to the Ocean Park at any time of the year. There are theme parties according to different holidays.During the Chinese New Year, there are several special programs.
Flower Market in the Victoria Park: The flower market in the Victoria Park opening is the hottest place in Hongkong during the spring festival. The market opens a few days before the Chinese New Year and attracts numerous people every year. In the market, people can buy fresh flowers including peach flowers, chrysanthemums, daffodils and other things for the New Year.

Ocean Park Best Routes
You can settle your routes this way:
- Enter the Ocean Park at the entrance Dashuwan and go to Quedao Island andAdventure Land. You can take the escalator to go up to the mountain. The Ocean Park Escalator is 225 m long, and is the second longest outdoor escalator in the world.
- On the mountain there is the Marin Land. You can visit Jellyfish House, Atoll Reef, Marine Theatre, Shark Aquarium, play amusement rides and have dinner there. There are both Chinese traditional food and American fast food like Mc.Donald’s.
- 3. In the afternoon, you can take the Cable Car to go back to the garden near the main entrance. There are Panda House, Children Amusement Park and Sea Lion Show. The places you must go are Atoll Reef, Dolphin Show, Bird’s Theatre and Panda House.
Ocean Park Tickets
The admission ticket for an adult: 250 HKD; for a kid between 3 to 11: 123 HKD.
The joint ticket including the park admission and transportation for an adult: 209 HKD; for a kid between 3 to 11: 105 HKD. The joint ticket can be bought at the Jinzhong Ticket Office.
The annual ticket for the Ocean Park is convenient for visitors who often go to the park. The gold card for an adult: 550 HKD, for a kid between 3 to 11:275 HKD. The silver card for an adult: 415HKD, for a kid between 3 to 11:210 HKD. The admission ticket with a student ID: 380HKD.
How to Get to the Ocean Park
1、 Take the subway at the Jinzhong Subway station and get to the Ocean Park directly. The ticket is 20 HKD.
2、 Buy the joint ticket of the city bus at the stop Jinzhong or Tianxing Dock of Zhonghuan and take the bus 629 to get to the Ocean Park. A joint ticket includes the admission ticket of the Ocean Park and the bus ticket return.
3、 You can also take the following buses and get off at the Hongkong tunnel. Then walk a little bit and you will see the Ocean Park.
Take the Chengba Bus 72, 72A,92,96 or 592 of Chengba at the stop Tongluowan.
Take the Chengba Bus 6A, 6X, 70, 75, 90, 97 ,260 or the Xinba Bus 262 at the stop Zhonghuan.
Take the Chengba Bus 41A, the Xinba Bus 38 or 42 at the stop Beijiao.
Take the Chengba Bus 77 or 99 at the stop Shaojiwan.
Take the Chengba or Xinba Bus 171 at the stop Changshangwan.
Take the Chengba or Xinba Bus 671 at the stop Zuanshishan.
Take the Chengba or Xinba Bus 107 at the stop Shatian.
Bus 162 is only available from Monday to Saturday.
Take the bus Line Ocean Park in front of Tianxing Dock of Zhonghuan or go to Tianzhong Subway station for the bus 629 or the Chengba bus 630 to Ocran Park. You can also reach the Ocean Park by bus 72，72A，92，96，592，6A，6X，70，75，90，97，260，262，41A，38，42，77，99，315，171，671，107，973 or 170 to get to the Ocean Park. The bus time at the Jinzhong stop is in every ten minutes between 9:00 and 16:00. The bus at the Tianxing Dock stop is in every twenty minutes between 9:35 and 10:55.
