The Fragrant Hills Park is on the eastern slope of the Xiaoxishan Mountain in the northwest suburbs of Beijing. It is 20 kilometres from the City of Beijing and covers an area of 160 hectares. It is a large-scale royal forest garden with rich cultural relics and numerous towers, pavilions and houses.

From September to November

Ticket to the Park:

RMB 5 per person in the low season

RMB 10 per person in the high season

Ticket to the Temple of Azure Clouds: RMB 10 per person

Ticket to the Ropeway (one-way):

RMB 50 for adults on weekday

RMB 60 for adults on weekend

 RMB 20 for children under 1.2 metres

How to get to the Fragrant Hills Park

By bus

318, 331,360,714,696,698, get off at Xiangshan Station

634, get off at East Gate to the Fragrant Hills Park

By car

By way of the Fifth Ringroad: get off the Fifth Ringroad at the Exit of Xiangshanlu, drive northwest from Xiangquan Roundabout for about 5 minutes.

By way of the Fourth Ringroad: get off the Fourth Ringroad at the Exit of Sihaiqiao, drive northwest past Minzhuang Road, turn north onto Hanhe Road, drive northwest from Xiangquan Roundabout for about 5 minutes.

By way of Xiangshan South Road: drive north past Hongqi Village to the crossroads of Wofo Temple Road, turn west and drive for about 5 minutes.

By way of the Summer Palace: drive west from Qinglong Bridge past Xianghongqi and Niangniangfu to Xiangquan Roundabout, turn northwest and drive for about 5 minutes.
