The Colluvial deposits beside the Ganqiu Lake and the Shuiqiu Lake can amount to 300 million cubic metres, and is made up of huge boulders that tumbled down the cliffs during landslides. One gigantic boulder is 60 metres in length, 40 in width and 30 in height. Some of the locals build their houses directly upon it because it is stable enough. The boulders pile tightly up along the valley to form large areas of slope, and it looks as if they were about to roll down. Seen from high above, the numerous boulders appear in all kinds of strange shapes which is an amazing sight. Some of the rocks split through the joints during their fall, such is the one that lies besides the Shuiqiu Lake. It split along its irregular joints so that the two broken pieces have the typical jagged fractures. Another 30-metre-high boulder cracked into two when it landed, and the fissure, called Xuanguan (the Entrance), is only several metres wide.
