Napa Sea

Napa Sea’s meaning is a lake in the rear of forest in Tibetan.  Because of the wet climate, the grassland is more flourishing than other places.  The grasses are so verdant that they resemble a boundless carpet covering on the ground.  Sheep, horses and cattle graze in the field, gathering in crowds and groups.  Mingling with the grassland, they formed a picturesque picture of nature.  Though named as Napa Sea, it is a representative seasonal lake.  The scenery in different season has its own characteristic.  When spring is changing into summer, the field looks like a carpet which is ornamented with gorgeous flowers, verdant grasses and fertile highland barleys.  In winter, it changes into vast waters as flat as a mirror.  As the most distinctive attraction of plateau and the most ideal habitat of rare black—necked crane, Napa Sea has the largest grassland in the county.  And the best time to visit Napa Sea is June.  In this month, you can find wild flowers in blossom contending in beauty; horses, sheep and cattle strolling all over the grassland.
