Best Seasons to Visit Mount Cuihua
Xi An lies in the middle of the Guanzhong Plain in the Yellow River basin, butting against Qinling Mountain Range in the south and facing River Wei in the north. It belongs to the temperate semi-humid monsoon climatic zone and therefore has four distinct seasons with a mild average temperature of 13 degrees Celsius. It is advisable to visit Mount Cuihua any time of the year since you may enjoy different sights at different times. In the summer the rivers are replenished and waterfalls swell up. The falls can reach as many as 25 metres in the Heaven Pool with the water splashing and rumbling in a formidable fashion. Sometimes you may spot rainbows in the sunlit spray. In the winter the Heaven Pool is coated in undisturbed snow and it looks just like a shiny mirror. The waterfalls also freeze up into icefalls. The ice columns give off a mysterious blue light which adds to the serenity and charm of the crystal world.
