Hong Kong Disneyland is located in Penny’s Bay of Lantau in the New Territories of Hong Kong. It is the 5th Disneyland, and the 11th theme park in the world. It occupies an area of 126 hectares, making it the smallest Disneyland in the world. Similar to other Disneylands in the world, the Hong Kong Disneyland consists of 4 theme zones—the Main Street USA, the Tomorrowland, the Fantasyland and the Adventureland. You will meet all the Disney cartoon characters here, such as Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Cinderella, Alice, Mulan, Teenie Weenie, and Stitch.
The park is now enlarged with three new theme zones. After the extension, the total area of the park would be 23% larger than before. And more than 100 new recreation facilities will be established then. The three new theme zones are, the Valley of Wilderness, the Mystic Manor, and the Toy Story Land. The former two theme zones do not exist in other Disneyland in the world, while the last one does not exist in other Disneyland in Asia. The CEO of Disney International promised that within five years, these three special zones would not be built in other Disneyland in the world.

The Main Street USA
The Main Street USA is the first theme zone you will see once you enter the park. It is built in imitation of the appearance of typical American towns at the age when cars were invented and gas lamps were replaced by electric lamps. The nostagic designs in the zone will help you experience the life in a very different era.
The Fantasyland
The Fantasyland is like a realistic version of Disney cartoons. Trip in here usually begins at the Sleeping Beauty Castle. Tourists will meet Teenie Weenie, Snow White, Mickey Mouse and other interesting cartoon characters in the zone. It is a garden of fairy tales. You can not find a similar zone in other Disneylands in the world.
The Tomorrowland
The Tomorrowland is a place filled with sci-fi adventures. The zone was designed as a port in space where shuttles and spacecrafts would visit frequently. All the recreation facilities, shops, and restaurants are decorated with robots, UFOs, and floating objects so that they all look like part of the space port. Visitors can join in the “Beyond the Space Mountain” journey or take a space shuttle and fly through different times and spaces.
The Adventureland
Tourists will experience all kinds of adventures that are likely to happen in the primeval forests in Asia and Africa. You can join in the Jungle River Cruise and visit all the amazing facilities inside the Adventureland, for example a group of elegant islands on the theme of “King of the Jungle”. Many unique or rarely seen objects are displayed here, too. The biggest chamber theatre in the HK Disneyland, where Disney Live Shows take place, is also located in the theme zone.
