Xi An, as an international tourist destination, welcomes a large number of tourists both from China and abroad every year. The Famen Temple is a famous Buddhism temple and has become a hot spot for sightseeing. After the ground palace of the temple and real Buddhist relics were discovered in 1985, the government decided to rebuild the stupa and renovate the whole temple.

The current thorough ticket for visiting Famen Temple is 120 yuan per person, including Famen Temple, Famen Temple Treasure Cabimet, the stupa of Famen Temple and the Buddhist Avenue. Starting from the city of Xi An, you can go to the train station to take Tourism Bus No. 2 (25 yuan for the ticket), and if you buy the ticket for Famen Temple, your bus ticket is free.
How to go to Famen Temple:
Setting off in the city of Xi An, you can take Tourism Bus No. 2 at the train station, or take the bus to Fufeng County at the West Terminal Bus Station. If you are in the city of Baoji, then you can take the bus to Fufeng County at the long-distance bus line terminal near the train station. After you arrive at Fufeng County, take a small bus or a taxi to go the the Famen Temple.

Bus Start Site: the west gate of the Tang Paradise

Matters needing attention:
- No smoking in the scenic spot and the around mountain area.
- Visitors are not allowed to bring joss sticks measuring over 60 cm to places of religious worship. Do not buy unqualified joss sticks.
- Respect other people’s religious beliefs.
- No photos for the figures of Buddha in the halls.
