Butterfly Spring Ornamental Park is the essential part of the Ten-mile Gallery Scenic Spot in Moon Mountain of Yangshuo in Guilin. It is next to the national road 321 and just 3 kilometers from the county. It is a recently appeared pearl of Guilin tourism. As it has the famous Butterfly Spring, therefore people used ‘Butterfly Spring’ to name the park. Its total area is 36,000 square meters. The main attractions are Butterfly Cave, the Fall of Butterfly Mountain, Butterfly Bridge, Butterfly Fate and Butterfly Hall and so on. Butterfly Fate (the largest butterfly ornamental park in China) occupies an area over 3,800 square meters. There are tens of thousands of butterflies live in harmony with people. Across the plank road in Butterfly Mountain and through the Butterfly Bridge, then you arrive at the meandering stone forest in Butterfly Mountain and you can see the picturesque Sheep Horn Mountain that why Yangshuo is named as Yangshuo. And you can also enjoy the rural scenery of Yulong River which has a nickname as ‘litter Lijiang’. You must see the king butterfly in the park. The famous poet He Zhizhang had titled it as ‘the No.1 butterfly in the world’, as its size is as big as 280 square meters. The Butterfly Spring Ornamental Park not only efficiently combines natural scenery, historical culture, climbing, education and recreation, but also works as an ecological scenic spot in which you could enjoy beautiful sceneries. It is a representative of Yangshuo landscape.
