Fundamental to Chinese History is the Old Great Wall stretching 3.5 kilometers, which is still standing strong thanks to the ‘tao sawai’. The ‘tao sawai’ is the infamous furnace used to make the Great Wall bricks, which is still around today much to the amazement of many visitors.
This area is also home to the stone Buddha who has been sat up in a natural stone cave ever since Li Zicheng entered Beijing; with a history stretching back a thousand years. It is only recently however, that the Shakyamuni Stone Buddha has been rediscovered by Shepherds having been forgotten for around ten decades. Today, the eminent Buddhist monks worship the Buddah in hopes of inviting positivity into their lives while blessing and protecting all mortal beings living atthe foot of the Great Wall.
