Seven Stars Park scenic zone is on the east bank of Lijiang River, 1.5 miles away from downtown Guilin. It covers an area of 400,000 square meters, with Xiaodongjiang River flowing through it. The park gets its name because there are seven mountains as if they were the seven stars of the Big Dipper. The Seven Stars Park is the biggest park in Guilin. It has the maximum number of visitors and the longest history. With the mountains, waters, caves, stones and pavilions inside, it is the epitome of the essence of Guilin Scenery with Hills and Waters.

Best Time to Visit Seven Stars Park

Seven Stars Park is in Guilin, southwest of Lingnan Mountain Chain. The altitude is 150 meter above the sea. Guilin enjoys a distinctive karst landform and a climate of tropical monsoon, mild with a lot of rain. January is the coldest month, with an daily average temperature of 8℃ and August is the hottest, with an daily average temperature of 28℃. From October to March in the next year is the low water season of Lijiang River. Therefore the best traveling period for Guilin is from April to October, which also works for the Seven Stars Park.

Seven Stars Park Tickets

Location: Seven Stars Road in Guilin (east to the Jiefang Bridge).

Tickets: 35 yuan, not including the ticket for the Seven Stars Rock which is 60 yuan .

        Children under 1.1 meters: Free

        Children between 1.1-1.4 meters: half price.

Take Bus 10, 11, 14 or 18 from Downtown Guilin.
