There are 3 remarkable cultural sites(Temple of Confucius, Cemetery of Confucius and the Kong Family Mansion) this three sites are listed as an UNESCO world heritage site.
TEMPLE OF CONFUCIUS
Two years after Confucius death, his house was consecrated as a temple, it is important to name the emperor Gao of the Han dynasty, as it was the first emperor to offer sacrifices in memory of Confucius. The temple complex is the second biggest temple in China after the Forbidden City. In the spring and autumn periods QUFU was the capital of the dukedom of Lu, as this is the birth place of Confucius, the city has remained a mecca for his followers.
Take subway Line 2 and get off at Yonghegong Station. Get out of the station from Exit C , then you’ll find Guozijian Street where the Temple of Confucius, just about 600 meters.
Take subway Line 5 and get off at Yonghegong Station, and get out of the station from Exit D.

THE CONFUCIUS CEMETERY
One can visit the cemetery of Confucius where the descendants and family of Confucianism are buried. This cemetery has the longest line of descendants in the world. Beside the tombs you can see the steles inscribed with handwritings of the notable people of the times, and vibrant stone sculptures. The Cemetery is renowned for its natural botanical areas, largely owing to more than 1,000 mature trees. It is said that after Confucius’s death, disciples planted rare trees from all over China. Some of the trees are so rare that their proper names are yet unknown. This is one of the most spiritual and sacred places that tourists can visit.
KONG FAMILY MANSION
Kong is the family name of Confucius and his descendant. The mansion is where the first son and the first son and the first grandson of Confucius lived. The eastern part is the family temple, the western is an institute and the central part are main buildings. The mansion shows luxury furnishing, exquisite decorations and cultural relics. The Kong family mansion is the largest of its kind in Chinese history.
