Huaqing Hot Spring is located at the northern foot of Mount Li of Lintong, 30 km to the east of Xi’an. As a well-known hot spring resort in China, it has thermal water flowing continuously in accordance with the alternations of the sun and the moon. Neither surplus nor lack of water ever occurs. Many tourists come and bathe there every day.

The ideal seasons to visit Xi’an are from March to May, during which the weather gets warm and the flowers blossom, as well as from September to November when autumn air is clear and crisp.

1. 70 yuan per person in high season (1st March – 31st November); 40 yuan per person in off season (1st December – end of Febrary);
2. Students, Officers in active service and the handicapped: 40 yuan per person in high season; 20 yuan per person in off season (certification required)
3. People older than 65 years old: 35 yuan per person (certification required); the entry for those older than 70 years old is free
4. The entry for those shorter than 1.2 is free
How to Get to Huaqing Hot Spring
By air: Xianyang International Airport in Xi’an is the fourth largest airport in China, with flights to more than 60 large and medium-sized domestic and international destinations, including Hong Kong, Macau, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Niigata, Nagaya and more. The airport is located 50 km northwest from the downtown of Xi’an. The airport express will get you to the airport within one hour. There is a regular bus service between downtown and the airport. Buses depart from the ticket office of Civil Aviation at Xishaomen (there are other stops in the city on the way to the airport; please refer to the airport service department for detailed information). From the centre, the buses depart every hour from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. From the airport, the buses depart 20 minutes after the arrival of each flight. The ticket costs 25 Yuan per person. A taxi from the downtown to the airport costs 80 – 100 Yuan.
By Railway: the Eurasia Land Bridge Longhai Railway
By Railway: the Eurasia Land Bridge Longhai Railway goes across Xi’an; Xiyan Railway goes from Xi’an to the sacred place of the revolution—Yan’an. Xikang Railway traverses Qinling to Chongqing. The Xihe railway (Xi’an—Hefei—Nanjing) and Xizhong railway (Xi’an—Pingliang—Zhpngwei), connecting east and west, are under construction. They will be finished in 2012. The railway station is located in the north of Xi’an,it takes 30 minutes to get there. A taxi costs 10 Yuan.
By Car: Driving along the Xilin speed way takes 30 minutes.
By Bus: take line914, 915,306 from the railway station(in the east square)→Huaqing Hot Spring station. The distance is 42km. Buses run every 15 minutes from 7:00am to 6:00pm. Allow up to 45 minutes to get to Huaqing Hot Spring.
