Before coming to China you may think how can you go from one place to another as it is sometimes really repetitive to move on a tour bus everywhere, maybe you prefer trying the real transportation style, how do common Chinese people move within the city, here you have some information and tips about Chinese transports. And some information about China Hotels and also additional information to organize your trip in the following link..   Travel to Beijing

With a big development since 1949, by the Chinese government to improve their country, a comprehensive transportation system was created. It consisted of railways, highways, airplanes.

Airplane is the most convenient and fastest means of transportation..

Since 1978, China airlines have witnessed an amazing improvement every year. By the end of 2003, a total of 1,176 domestic and international airlines were operated in China. The Asian first destinations are Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong Traveling by train is also a good choice, as it has cheap prices but the inconvenient of the language as it is very difficult to find a train staff worker who speaks English. They have international trains(Beijing-Pyongyang, Beijing-Moscow, Beijing-Hanoi and Beijing-Ulan Bator).

We just can find subways at the important Chinese cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. In my opinion, the Beijing subway experience is something you have to live, it is really crowded and the staff’s obligation is to push you into the subway, it is an stressful game and your objective is to get into or out the train anyway you can, it is amazing how can so much people fit into a train.Although other Chinese regions, the subway lines are not fully developed, it is still a good way to get around, as it takes you to the major places

Taking a taxi, as in any city, is a very fast and convenient way to get to your destination. You can find taxis in almost every city, you can also hire a taxi for a half or a whole day, but please make sure to first agree a price with the taxi driver.

China also impressed me because of the bicycles kingdom. China had 500 million bicycles by 1987. One bicycle for every two people of its population. Bicycles in China are really important ways of transportation

There is probably no way better than walking around, this way of transport can offer you the authentic experience of common people’s life. Some useful tips while walking in Chinese cities.

  • While crossing the street, please look to the both sides of the road, even if the green light is on.
  • Remember to get a business card of your hotel on hand, in case you get lost or want to get a taxi back. Or you can ask the hotel staff to write down the places you want to go in both Chinese and English.
  • Buy a tourist map of the city both in English and Chinese, in case you want to ask for directions.
  • Bring some small change with you, in case you get tired or lost, and want to take a subway, bus or taxi.

Air China can cover a long journey in less time, saving precious time and energy for you to enjoy the attractions in your destination
