The Butterfly Spring is located in the most beautiful “Ten-Mile Gallery”, of the Moon Hill scenic spot in Yangshuo. It is a naturally scenic spot, which effectively brings natural landscape, history and culture, mountaineering and health care, environmental protection, popularization of science and leisure and going vacationing together as one.
It opened for business in November, 2001 and it is a member of enterprise association of tourist attraction and shopping of Guilin. It passed ISO90001 in January, 2004: quality management system200o and ISO4001: environment management system1996. In 2005, it got the prize of “tourist business with no complaints of 2005” and in September, 2006, it was judged to be the national AAAA tourist attraction.
The Butterfly Spring attraction is a comprehensive tourist attraction which integrates miraculous peaks and streams, quite and beautiful caves, and idyllic scenery.
Butterflies are seen flying in the flowers and dragonflies are seen flying over water. The land of idylli
c beauty in the poems written by Tao Yuanming is nothing more than this.
In the Butterfly Spring spot, there is one exquisite cave, the only primitive place to overlook the Shangri-la of Yangshuo, Yulong River, Yangjiao Mountain and other idyllic landscapes. Here, you can visit sweet bees garden and butterfly garden (the biggest butterfly visiting garden of China), take part in popuular outdoor activities like, rock climbing, prompt drop, and downhill race, and watch performance of Butterfly Love.
