Yangshuo Butterfly Spring is located in the central travel area of “the mile gallery” in moon hill scenic spot of Yangshuo. There exists, the sole primitive suspension bridge in Yangshuo and the alpine musically running waterfall. Tourists can get a bird’s view of Yulong River from Shangri-la of Yangshuo; and observe the ruralYangjiao Hill from the watching towers. Attractions such as Bee Garden and Butterfly Garden (the biggest butterfly watching garden in China at present) are also enchanting. Best time to visit Butterfly Spring
The best time to visit Yangshuo is from May to mid-November. The clear weather and limited rainfall in those months create the perfect weather for tour and sightseeing, as well as various outdoor activities. However, you should learn that during the golden week of Labour Day and National Day, a great number of tourists gather in hotels, restaurants and wine bars, even sidewalk snack booths in crowds. As a result, the lodging expenses go up to three or five hold of the price in peacetime. Of course, other various expenditures would also increase several-fold. Other holidays when tourists amass include Christmas, New Year’s Day and the Spring Festival. The number of tourists is much bigger at weekends than that in off-peak days. In fact, there are both advantages and disadvantages about the number of tourists. When many tourists come, the festival spirit will increase; when there are fewer tourists, you can appreciate the primitive simplicity of Yangshuo Townlet. How to get to Butterfly Spring
From 7am to 6pm of each day, take bus (Gulin—Yangshuo) at Gulin Railway Station to Yang Shuo Station, then transfer to bus (Yang Shuo—Gaotianxiaomian) or the sightseeing bus, you can reach the destination in only five minutes.
