The best time to visit Beihai Park is from the last ten-day period of April to the first ten-day period of June and from the last ten-day period of August to the late November.

1. Opening hours for the park: 6:00 am. —10:00 pm. Ticket price: 10 yuan ( 5 yuan for student).
2. Opening hours for the Jade Islet area: 8:30 am. — 6:00 pm. Ticket price: 10 yuan ( 5 yuan for student).
3. Opening hours for the ferryboat area: 9:00 am. — 6:00 pm. Ticket price: 5 yuan.
4. The Shanyin Hall needs an extra ticket of 2 yuan.
How to get to Beihai Park
By Bus
By bus No. 5, 101, 103, 109, 124, 812, 814 and 846, visitors can get off at the front gate of Beihai Park.
By bus No. 13, 42, 107, 111, 118,810 and 701, visitors can get off at the back door of Beihai Park.
By Subway
Take subway line 4, get off at Xisi station, then walk for 180 meters or take bus No.103, 101 and 619.
