The Nanshan Ski Resort is one of the best ski resorts in Beijing and the ski resort usually starts to open around the end of November or whenever the years winter season starts.

Nanshan Ski Resort is one of the biggest and popular ski resorts in Beijing. It is located in the south of Miyun Country, 62 km from Siyuan Bridge, Beijing. As a resort of four seasons, it offers such tourist activities such as skiing, water skiing, grass skiing, sliding and gliding. In this picturesque resort, visitors are offered skiing in the winter, hiking in the spring, swimming in the summer and fruit-picking in the autumn. This resort is suitable for all seasons and these activities focus on sports while giving consideration to sightseeing at the same time.

Intermediate Skiing Slope

If you are a first time skier then don’t worry as there is a skiing school at the resort as well. The skiing school boast more than 70 excellent instructor and the snowboard school has introduced the LTR system from Burton, USA. The skiing instructors also speak various languages for different kind of tourists. The Resort is also very safe to ski and snowboard around as there are lots of fences around and there are ski patrol officers constantly wondering around all the time. There are also a lot of different ranges of slopes for beginners and intermediate skiers and snowboarders as well so there is always everything for everyone to do during their skiing and snowboarding trip.

If you do not have any skiing gear on you as well then don’t worry and the Ski Resort can rent out everything from ski gloves to the ski equipment. They also rent out lockers for visitors that want to ski for a day. The prices for the skiing gear are all priced reasonably and not too costly. There are also a lot of food area in the Ski Resort and the food they serve are all delicious but it is quite pricey as well. There are the Terrace Restaurant and pub that supplies the western food, coffee and beer. The Nanshan Restaurant and the Dahuatang Chinese serves north-eastern style restaurant and there is also a hot snack bar which supplies Chinese food and snack.
