The climate of the Bamboo Sea is mild and humid with four distinct seasons. In August, the hottest month, the temperature only averages 27.4 degrees Celsius, and in January, the coldest month, the temperature is not lower than 8 degrees Celsius. Air humidity is above 83% most of the year. So come any time you want.

How to get to Shunan Bamboo Sea:

By air: There are direct flights from Yibin Airport to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Kunming.

By railroad: It takes six to seven hours from Chengdu to Yibin. It costs RMB 25. There are buses going straight from Yibin to Bamboo Sea and it costs RMB 20. From Chengdu, Kunming, Guiyang, Neijiang and Xunchang there are trains 2003, 2004, 5601, 5604, 5602, 5603, 505, 5606, 8635, 8636, N863, N866, N864, N865 directly to or passing by Yinbin.

By highway: It takes you three hours and RMB 80~90 to travel from Chongqing to Yibin by car. In the city of Yibin there is a convenient highway network. IT is only 50 km from Yibin Southshore Coach Station to Bamboo Sea via Changning, and the coach departs every 15 minutes. All the main roads in the Bamboo Sea scenic zone are concrete roads so it is very convenient.
