Qinghai is a place that is filled with tourism resources including plenty of natural landscapes and sceneries of humanities .Compared other traveling places, such as Beijing tour, Guangzhou tour, Qinghai has it own speciality,

Qinghai Province is located in the northwest China, the northeast corner of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, which is part of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau. Qinghai Province is a diverse and unique part of China.  This magnificent Chinese province is part of what is often referred to as the “Roof of the World.”  Its natural beauty and imposing vistas, as well as its diverse cultures and customs, all come together to extend an invitation for visitors from near and far to see for themselves what is available here.

The Kunlun Mountains, known to the Chinese as the “Father of all Mountain Ranges,” extend from  east to west across the province. Other smaller ranges, including the mountains of Tangula, Bayankala and Qilian, add their own enticing summons to travelers as they call out from Qinghai’s northernmost border to its border in the south.  These mountains extend 5,000 meters above sea level and have permanent snow fields and glaciers nestling on their sides.  These year-around water sources feed three of China’s most famous rivers, the Yangzi River, the Yellow River and the Mekong River (Lancang River).  As a result, this area is known in China as the “Water Towers of China.”  These flowing rivers have nurtured Chinese as well as Southeast Asian civilizations for thousands of years.  Is it any wonder the Mekong River is known to those civilizations as the “Mother River?”

The Kekexili National Nature Reserve is home to the Tibetan Antelope, which has been chosen as one of five mascots for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.  This mascot is named YingYing, which combined with the names of the other four mascots, combine to form a sentence of welcome to the people from around the world to not only attend the Olympics, but to also visit the mountains that YingYing calls home.

Bird island at Qinghai Lake is named after he tens of thousands of migration birds on the island. The island consists of east and west islands. HaiXishan(mountain on the west of the sea) is also called XiaoXishan(small west mountain)  where in April each year, albatross, seagulls and numerous other birds arrive here to lay hatch and eggs. In the birds’ laying season there are thousands of birds’ eggs on the ground. One kilometer from HaiXiShan is the HaiXiPi island, cormorant is the main type of birds on the island so it is called “cormorant island”. Two island combine together called bird island. The amount of the birds enabled it ranks as the world’s densest “kingdom of birds”. When the birds are flying, the sky is covered to darkness, which is the awesome picture on Qinghai Lake.

Qinghai’s history is long and rich in different ethnicities and cultures.  Its history can be traced back to the Stone Age.  The Liuwan painted pottery relics (representing the Majiayao, Qijia and Xindian Cultures) and the ancient Tibetan burial stones in Dulan County, which is southeast of Qinghai Lake, give proof to the long-term intermingling of different minorities and ancient cultures.
