1.By bus
Advantages：
a.In general,there are about two thousand bus routes in Beijing.So it is convenient for you to travel to everywhere in Beijing.
b.It is the cheapest way to make a journey within Beijing city.It only takes you one yuan each time in average.If you have bought a public transportation card,it will be much cheaper(about 0.4yuan each time)
Disadvantages：
a. It is a little bit crowded when people are on their way to work or going home.So I do not think it will be a good choice if you are tired enough .
b. It is not as fast as subway if there is heavy traffic jam.

2.By subway
Advantages：

Disadvantages：
a. You may need to change your line to get to your destination.For example,if you start from Summer palace to TianAnMen Square,you should take line 4 first ,then change to line 1 in the transfer station.
3.By bike
Advantages：
- You can stop wherever you want .It must be a perfect idea to take a good rest and do some sports at the same time.
- It seems a better way to enjoy the natural scenery in Beijing since you are much closer to it.
- Bikes can be rented from a bike rental(30 to 40yuan per day,or you can choose to pay by hour) and it is a Low-Carbon Tour.
Disadvantages：
- You are advised to traver by bike when weather permitting.So it depends.
- Skills and stamina are needed since you need to ride for a long time.
- Security deposit is need(about 300yuan per bike)
4.By taxi
Advantages：
- The most comfortable way to get your destination within the shortest time.
- You can make reservations by telephone.
Disadvantages：
a. It takes more money to travel by taxi.The Comprehensive Price: price = starting price (RMB 10 yuan) + (mileage – starting miles (3 km)) * priced per kilometer (2 RMB yuan).
b. There are some unlicensed cabs in Beijing.Drivers of a unlicensed cab often ask for a higher price and it is not safe to a “taxi”like this.
c. You need to learn some basic chinese words to communicate with the driver,even though the public transportation card can also be used,but drivers perfer cash than the card.
In general,it is the cheapest way to travel by bus and most comfortable to get your destination by taxi.
