Baiyangdian lie in new county of Hebei province which between Beijing and Tianjin, 140 kilometers from the Beijing and Tianjin, 45 kilometers away from Baoding. It is the largest fresh water lake in North China Plain

There are many tourism spots which are all beautiful. But, I suggest you go to culture exhibition fist. Only in this way, you can know the place very well and enjoy the scenery permeated with the culture very well. In culture exhibition, you can know what had Zhanggazi done and you also know a team called Yanling who done something against the enemy. Once you see the tools they used, you may be more admiration to them for their tools are so simple and crude. They only had small boat, sickle and simple guns.
Enjoy Scenery
Baiyangdian water among the most attractive scenery and varied landscapes in different seasons. I think the summary scenery is the most beautiful one I have ever seen. Most of the time in your trip you must stay on the boat, because there is no road and boat is their transport. When you are on the boat seeing reed along the “water road”, that is a wonderful feeling. By boat you can get a place called Lotus Grand View Garden where own 360 kinds lotus with all kinds of colors. The best thing I like to do is wandering in the thicket of lotus by a wooden boat. That is wonderful!
Drama Performance
There is another place called Gazi impression where you can see drama performance about Gazi resisting enemy. From the Drama Performance, you can general understand Gazi through the realistic performance.
Another performance is about crocodile. One man put some money into mouth of the crocodile, and then he take the money out with his teeth.
Specific Routes
New county has a new high-speed roads lead and 107 provincial highway and national highway connecting. From Beijing, Tianjin, Shijiazhuang freeway was able to more than one hour to the new county. From the county to various tourist attractions we have to go to Baiyangdian terminals, county five kilometers away from the pier. And from the pier you can go to the various scenic spots on board.
