BREAKFAST WITH CHOPSTICKS ? : ASIA TRAVEL GUIDE
A friend of me left a message on my Facebook last week. She is an university student in America. Her name is Nancy. Nancy told me she wanted to travel to Asia this year, so she asked me for some advice. Asia boasts of abundant tourist resources, with beautiful natural landscapes, numerous scenic spots and historic sites, and a rich splendid culture. Among all the Asia countries, I recommended her CHINA, JAPAN , and some countries in southeast Asia. In China, Travel to Beijing and Travel to Tibet is necessary. The followed is some travel guides about Asia.
Tibet in China
About China,I recommend Tibet. With an average elevation of 4900m , Tibet is the highest region on earth . For this reason, it is sometimes called the Roof of the World. Most of the people in Tibet live at elevations ranging from 1200m to 5100m. Due to different geographical conditions, temperatures of the south grassland and north plateau differ sharply. The south is warm and rainy. Most rain falls during May and September. The north has a continental climate, and is a relatively dry area. It is
warm form June to August. The weather differs sharply during day and night. The best time for traveling is from March to October. Tibet has a long history. Ancient remains show that human beings lived here from 4 thousand to 20 thousand years ago. Tibetans are so diligent and brave that they have created diverse cultural customs. This is a nation with special traditional culture and a nation keen on dancing and singing.
Mount Fuji in Japan
Mount Fuji is Japan’s tallest peak, with an elevation of 3,776 meters above the junction of Japan’s Honshu Yamanashi and Shizuoka counties. The lava flows, volcanic ash and gravel piled up to form the main part of it, about 220 meters deep in
the mouth of the volcano like a big alms bowl. It was revered as the “imperial legacy.” Mount Fuji is a relatively young figure in the dormant volcano, and all indications show that it may erupt again. In spring, piles of cherry, beautiful scene in brilliant purples and reds, scatter a few lanes; During the summer, the mountains are green, a number of snow melt on the peak, it is the best season to watch the sunrise from the top of the mountain; In fall, it’s a beautiful season with red leaves everywhere; During winter, the frozen scene of the northern landscape is magnificent Mount Fuji is so picturesque all seasons and attracts a large number of tourists come to visit
Bangkok in Thailand
Metropolitan Bangkok covers 1569 square kilometers of southern Thailand, sitting in the middle of the most fertile rice-producing delta in the world .Bangkok is divided in two by the main north-south train line. Old Bangkok, where a large proportion of the city’s temples and palaces and its Chinese and Indian districts are found, lies between the river and the railway. East of the railway, comprising the main business, tourist and sprawling residential districts,is ‘new’ Bangkok. Of course, outside of these general classifications,Bangkok sprawls in all directions with a mixture of
commercial, industrial and residential areas. Bangkok is a cultural melting pot and there’s no better evidence of this than Pahurat,on the edge of Chinatown. A wide variety of Indian goods are available in this small area, ranging from an astonishing array of silks to Thai shoulder bags. The choice is amazing, the haggling is fierce and the bargains can be unbelievable if you’re good enough. Head down little alleys into the ‘bowels’ of this area and you’ll find foodstuffs, household items and a thriving culture that might ordinarily pass by unnoticed.
