With the fast development of China, both economically and culturally, China travel is becoming more and more popular, the most comfortable and convenient way for foreign tourists to visit China is airplanes, so it’s important to know about how to buy air tickets.

China Flights consist of Air China, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, and so on. There are some little tips about the air tickets:

  1. What are the regular price tickets and discount tickets?
    Regular Price tickets are purchased by visitors at the normal airline fares, allowing for transfer and change sign, valid for one year. Such prices are usually higher than the discount tickets.
     Discount tickets mean that passengers purchase a special discount fares, not allowing to sign transfer and change, there are many restrictions for these discounts tickets.

2. What’s difference between different Air fare levels?   

 Air fares are generally divided into three grades: first class, business class and economy class. Each grade has the normal fare and a variety of discount tickets. Letter F and A stand for first class; business class code is usually C, D and so on. Economy class is symbolized by letter Y, M, L, K and T. This five letters stand for different prices, different number of seats.
3. What are the one-way ticket and round trip ticket?
    One-way ticket: tickets which is from starting point to your destinations;
    Round-trip ticket: tickets which include the go-back journey.


4. What are OPEN tickets?
    Round trip ticket without definite return date, there will be the word “OPEN” on it. Guests should be confirm the date and go to the airlines to change the date. Passengers who want to buy such tickets should go to ticket agency and book in advance, and ask whether changing the date is free or not. 

5. What are the shortest and the longest duration of the tickets?
     It means the shortest days and the longest days the passengers can stay at the destinations. 
6. What are “no signing transfer tickets”, “no rescheduling tickets”, “no refunding tickets”?
 No signing transfer tickets: these cannot change the airlines after you buy them;
 No rescheduling tickets: these cannot change the date of departure and return;

No refunding tickets: these cannot be returned after you buy them.
7. What is the international ticket tax?
  International air tickets should be charged of tax by the foreign airports, you should pay for it when you book an air tickets. Specific tax and the amount printed on the ticket as the credential.
8. What is the turning point and stops?
  For international flights, generally, the duration within 24 hours is called turning point, more than 24 hours is called stop.  

 
9. What are Children tickets and Infant tickets?

Children whose age is from 2 to 12 years can buy children tickets, babies aged 0 to 2 years old can buy Infant tickets, and the price’s going to be different in different airlines.

 10. Lost tickets should do?
Passengers, who lost their tickets, please immediately report to the local police station and get the loss certificate. Then go to the local offices to report the loss of air tickets.

 When go on board, you should have your passports with you, or materials which can prove your identities; you’d better arrive at the airport earlier than the boarding time, because you will get your boarding pass and for the security; to read the related rules carefully, for some dangerous objects, like knives, liquid, gasoline, and so on cannot be on board.
