Xi’an is located in the middle of China, the capital of Shaanxi province. Xi’an once called Chang’an, which means long-term stability. Xi’an was the capital of 13 dynasties in Chinese history. So it is the birthplace of Chinese civilization.
Walking on the streets of Xi’an, you can see the historical buildings of various dynasties, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Small Wild Goose Pagoda, Clock Tower, Drum Tower…Walking on the top of the well-preserved city wall, built in Ming dynasty, you can not only appreciate the old China architecture, but also over look the modern city of Xi’an.
Besides the surviving complex of historical buildings, Xi’an also has rich culture heritage. Variety of food is the miniature of culture heritage. Pita Bread Soaked in Lamb Soup、Liang Pi、Rouga Mo……
One of the world’s eight wonders, it was made thousands of years ago. The local people told me it would cost around 2 years to restore one terra cotta warrior.
