The Great Hall is in ancient Roman style. It is regarded by Tsinghua people as a symbol of their resolute, simple and unyielding personality.
While these buildings are in western style, the former royal gardens such as Gongziting, Guyuetang and Shuimuqinghua show traditional Chinese architecture.
