Afternoon Shopping and Food. Take the subway line 1 to Yong An Li Station which is three stations away from Tian’an Men Square. This has the most famous market “Silk Market”. Here you could buy every traditional Chinese gifts, clothes and food here with high qualities, such as the silk, pearl, china, tea, crafts and Beijing Duck. Except for the products, you can alsoexperience the typical Chinese bargaining conversations: “How much is it?””RMB 1000 yuan? No, that’s too much!””RMB 300 yuan or I don’t buy it!””No, that is too low, I don’t have any profits.””OK,OK, that’s fine, take it by 400 yuan. I have never sold it at this low price.” Silk Market was at first known as selling high quality of fake brand products. But now it has the real brand name products, famous Chinese traditional food, and western style café. Since Silk Market is a must-see attraction spot for visitors, many celebrities have visited and bought stuff here. For example, George Bush and his daughter bought 6 hand-made silk pajamas with Chinese traditional patterns: Phoenix and Dragon.

Night Life. The night life in Beijing has much more funs than Montreal. If you are a pub fan, you should not miss San Li Tun Pub Street. There are nearly 80 night clubs here. The direction is to take Bus route 113, 115, 406, 416, 431, 701, 758 and get off at San Li Tun. It is also in the same district (Chao Yang District) as two places above, so you could also take taxis to get here.
