I have studying in Beijing for 4 years and during my Beijing Tours I often go to KTV with my dear friends for relaxing, just as most we 80’s do. So this time I want to summarize several most famous karaoke tvs for your Travel to Beijing.
No.1 Cash Box
Cash box is surely the first one to be recommended no matter in Beijing or other large cities in China, I think. It is said that many Chinese stars like to have parties in Cash Box. Given this point, I think you can trust in its quality. I always passed by in the past 4 years as it is close to my university. And gatemen there are always busy with parking service. I went there before graduation. The splendid large hall dazzled us. Attendants there were very nice and friendly. Certainly it has wonderful sound effect, latest songs and high class facilities. The most satisfactory point is that it provides relevant cheap buffet which has various kinds of food and refreshments. I checked its offering times—0:00—2:00 am 29yuan, 10:00 to 14:00 29yuan and 17:00—20:30 35yuan. Food there tasted very delicious. As it is a discount- style KTV, you can take 80% less in certain times (almost 10:00—16:59 from Mon to Fri and 8:00—13:59 on weekends). Well, its original price is 240yuan for small boxes, 320yuan for middle ones and 480yuan for large ones. If you want to go, you’d better make a reservation in advance.

No.2 Melody
Melody is the first discount- style KTV in Beijing. Compared with Cash Box, it looks more fashionable. Because decorations in Cash Box seem to be grand while is vogue in Melody for young ones. I went to Melody Chaowai Branch, the flagship store, 2 years ago. Lights and music in the reception hall and corridors made me forget boring things in my life and just lost in it, very relaxing. It has high class software and hardware facilities as well. Moreover, food in Melody is very cultured. Though the price is surely higher, you may have a try for Melody’s special delicious meals. Likewise a lot of stars carry out their will sings in Melody. And it has different kinds of preferential activities cooperating with banks such as credit cards sales.

No.3 Tango
As its motto says, Tango is a way of life. In my mind, Tango is an excellent night club for young people to get pleasure especial for Beijing locals. A short time before, I went to its Yonghegong Branch. The store building there has hive-like surface, which is inconspicuous in daytime while becomes very glaring at night with lights lightening from the whole “hive”. I like its design. Late at night, Tango is very busy. You can see lots of cars are seizing parking space. Crowded people gather outside the store and clusters of people in and out since it has a disco on basement level one. I am not the guy who could give full vent through dancing in a disco. I just sing some relaxing songs or stay alone on the corner. Identically, it has buffet, KTVs, clubs and some other ones. And rooms for 6 people can be charged about 100yuan more or less per hour (differ from times). For more details, you can search it on the Internet since I forget about the other room styles.
