There are many must-visit placed nowadays for any tourist in China. Here, we shall take a look at some of these popular sites here.

The first part should be the historic sites. Among all those great prodigious workmanship, the Great Wall of China continues to attract millions of visitors from all around the world. The Great Wall was mainly built to prevent attacks from the Xiongnu dynasty. It was continuously rebuilt and underwent maintenance particularly during the 6th century B.C. to the 16th century. This wall extends to a length of over 6,400 km as an undeniably miracle, was established by the ancient Chinese who are brilliant and it is full of interesting story. You will enjoy a fantastic yet amazing looking in the early morning or late afternoon. Also, climbing the Wall conjures up your sense of thrill and adventure.

The Forbidden City is yet another famous place in China. This imperial place was built during the period of 1406 to 1420. The Palace Museum which holds on the Forbidden City is used to display the souvenirs today. Precious collections here are highly prized and valuable, which over 340,000 pieces of ceramics as well as porcelain. Exquisite artworks and bronze work which dates back to the Shang Dynasty are also exhibiting. The most engrossing elements in this place can not be the remarkably attractive legends which you can enjoy in every single part of the great garden and mystery stories any more. Even one single will or an old tree can take you to the ancient society and dig out the secret at that time.

Beijing is the capital city, politically and culturally. The tourists can find the hint of history almost everywhere in the city, such as the Summer Palace, the Beihai Park, both of whom are horned as the top imperial garden in China, attract large amount of tourists.

Related to the religious faith, there are also other well-known places in China. Listed as one of the  UNESCO World Heritage Site, Dazu rock carvings are a series of some exquisite works of religious significance. These amazing carved sculptures were carved in the 7th century A.D. Dazu rock carvings are located in the Dazu County on a steep, tranquil hillside, which includes 75 sites and contains over 50,000 beautiful statues. All those statues are having a deep meaning and influenced by various cultural beliefs. FYI, Dazu rock carvings are in Sichuan Province.

Mogao Grottoes which related to the Buddhism is also subtle. Mogao Grottoes lies in the northwest of China, in Dunhuang, Gansu province. You can not imagine the magnificent sight there, in the great desert, stretching far across the plain, a 9-floor building with tens of thousands of Buddha statues and fading yet elegant fresco in it—and that is the only one of the Mogao Grottoes. Hence, not only can you enjoy the unbelievable scenery in the caves, but also the beauty of the desert—a surprising place named Mingsha Mountain is just next to it, with the fine view of the Crescent moon Spring. Mingsha Mountain is famous for its weird sound from the sand—if you step on it, the sand will made a still small sound.

There are still much more place with great nature beauty, not just the nature, also with the glamour of the minority nationalities civilization. You can enjoy the weird but interesting food in Yunnan province, experience their wedding ceremony and stay in a street bar which with soft cushions, puppies, different kinds of magazines and beverages in shinning sunlight late afternoon in Lijiang. Experiencing the nomadism culture in Qinghai province or the dreamscape in Jiuzhai mountain valley, Sichuan province, are also the best choices.
